Huron student online threat results in charges

A 14-year-old Huron County high school student is now facing a criminal charge following a threatening social media post made last week.

Huron County OPP officers were called to a Central Huron high school Thursday to investigate a concerning threat that was posted on a popular social media platform.

Police located the student at the school made an arrest without incident.

A 14-year-old male from Clinton is charged is chargesd with uttering a threat, and has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 6, 2018, at the Youth Justice Court in Goderich.
