GOJHL: Elmira and Waterloo Pick up Decisive Wins

Elmira 4 Brampton 2

Mason McMahon struck twice as the Elmira Sugar Kings doubled Brampton 4-2.

Elmira took a 2-0 lead in the first period thanks to goals by Brock McKenzie and McMahon. Troy Andrews put the Bombers on the board in the second before McMahon scored again and Damian Figueira notched a power play goal to make it 4-1 Elmira.

Brampton's Marcus Didiano was the lone scorer in the third.

Waterloo 6 Kitchener 3

Owen Lane had a hat trick in the Waterloo Siskins 6-3 win over Kitchener.

Brett Schaefer had a goal and an assist and Sam Cherry set up all three of Lane's goals.

Machus Turner stopped 31 shots in the win. Lucas Patton turned aside 37 for the Dutchmen.
