An Owen Sound man is donating money to make the lives of children better in the city and the surrounding area.
Elgin Warrilow, along with his late wife Shirley, donated $100,000 to the Rotary Club of Owen Sound Charitable Trust. The money will be used to rebuild the kitchen at the Rotary Club's Camp Presqu'ile.
Elgin says he and his wife decided the best thing to do with their money was to help kids.
"My wife, before she passed away, we talked about supporting kids as we had done on several occasions," says Elgin.
This is the fourth time money has been donated through the E & S Warrilow Memorial Fund.
Previously Elgin and Shirley donated $100,000 each to the Grey Bruce Health Services Foundation, the Family 'Y' and a local triple A hockey team.
