The OPP have concluded their investigation and will not be laying charges in the death of a 3-year-old girl, hit by a pickup truck in Pinery Provincial Park.
The little girl was struck when a 39-year-old man was attempting to make a U-turn on Lakeshore Rd. at about 5:30pm on Saturday. The child was pronounced dead in hospital.
Both are from East York.
Police say the family is extremely distraught over the loss of their child. In order to assist in their grieving process, the OPP will not be releasing the name of the girl or the driver.
