Junior Fire Fighter Obstacle Course Coming To Saugeen Shores

Kids in Saugeen Shores can now compete in their own Junior Firefighter Challenge.

Thanks to a $3,000 donation from the Power Worker's Union, and funding from the PWU/Bruce Equity Fund, a new miniature obstacle course will now be added as part of the Saugeen Shores Jr. Fire and Public Education Program.

The course will be designed for kids aged 9 to 11 that take part in the six-week education course run each year by Saugeen Shores Volunteer Fire Fighters. It will be portable for easy set up at public events, and will be modelled after the popular Bruce Power Fire Fit course.
