Indigenous 150+ Event Being Held In Owen Sound

The Indigenous 150+ group is hosting an event in Owen Sound this weekend.

The group was created in response to the Truth and Reconciliation 94 calls to action to commemorate First Nations, Métis and Inuit history, culture and teachings. They also hope to educate Canadians and create opportunities for collaboration and to build relationships between Indigenous and Canadian people.

The event is at Heartwood Hall in Owen Sound from 1pm to 4pm and the tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. They will be showing a documentary called "When They Awake", which focuses on Indigenous musicians.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by clicking here.
