The Listowel Legionnaires open up their Midwestern Ontario Baseball Season Saturday.
The 4 o'clock first pitch Saturday at the John Bell South Diamond will feature Listowel versus London. That will be followed by the first game for the Listowel Jr. Legionnaires at 7 p.m. also against London.
Listowel is looking to excel this season as they earned the right to host this year's OBA tournament in September.
Mitchell, Hanover and Kincardine are also in the league and will play their first games later this month.
