The Owen Sound Police Service is currently investigating an incident of graffiti mischief in the east end of the city.
The graffiti is racially disparaging and is currently being investigated as a hate crime.
The Criminal Investigation Bureau and local officers have canvassed the neighbourhood and continue to collect information regarding this incident.
Police are reminding citizens not to re-post the image of the graffiti, as its words are inflammatory and racist by definition under the Criminal Code of Canada, and is punishable by law.
