Spring Workshops For Local Not-For-Profit Organizations

United Way Perth-Huron is hosting a series of workshops to help not-for-profit organizations provide professional development for their staff.

Executive Director Ryan Erb says they offer the program every spring and Libro Credit Union has been sponsoring the program for several years.

The program is not restricted to not-for-profit but is aimed at that group. The workshops are being held at the Huron County Health Unit in Clinton, the Stratford Library, and Trillium Mutual in Listowel.

More information about the workshops can be found at perthhuron.unitedway.ca.

"If you look in the general not-for-profit world and how much money is there for professional development, there's not enough right," says Erb. "So these organizations need a discounted rate and so we make that happen, in large part because of the sponsorship that comes from Libro."
