Dynamite sticks found in cardboard box in vacant lot in Elora Sunday, April 1st, 2018 (Wellington County OPP photo)An OPP Explosive Disposal Unit was call to a vacant lot in Elora Sunday evening.
Police had been alerted that there was a suspicious package near Walser St. and Keating Dr.
Someone had spotted a cardboard box with an explosive label on it and four yellow sticks of dynamite.
The disposal unit destroyed the dynamite without incident.
Anyone with information that could assist Wellington County OPP with this case in Elora is asked to call them.
