Culina Gives the Rangers the Win

Mario Culina made 41 saves to give the Kitchener Rangers a 2-1 win over the Guelph Storm. The Rangers now lead their first round playoff series 2-0.

The Rangers were out shot 42-32 in the game but still managed to win. Kole Sherwood scored the go-ahead goal at 12:34 of the third.

Cam Hillis opened the scoring for Guelph not even two minutes into the game. Givani Smith scored on the power play midway through the first to tie the game 1-1.

Game 3 is tomorrow night in Guelph. Puck drops at 7 p.m. at the Sleeman Centre.
