Unique Brussels Venue Already Popular

The new barn in downtown Brussels is getting plenty of attention.

Huron East Economic Development Coordinator Jan Hawley says the official opening of the Four Winds Wedding and Event Barn isn't planned until later this year, but they have already hosted their first wedding.

The owners have bookings for 54 events for this year and next year and have some bookings for 2020 as well as some enquiries for 2011. Hawley says aside from weddings, they can also host corporate events and conferences.

The Four Winds Barn will also be the new home of the Brussels Farmers Market, and Hawley says that means it can become a year-round event, rather than just five months of the year.

Hawley says they'll be hosting a meeting for vendors interested in being part of the new Farmers Market on April 18. More information can be found on the fourwind.com website.
