Minto Charging More For Serviced Industrial Land

The price of serviced industrial land in Minto is going up sharply.

For many years, the price has been set at $15,000 an acre. It has now gone up to $35,000 per acre.

Mayor George Bridge says the growing demand for serviced industrial land is part of the reason, and the new price still does not cover the entire cost of creating serviced industrial land.

A sewer lift station for additional land in the Palmerston Industrial Park will cost about $1-million.
