Chepstow Homecoming Gets Brockton's Support

Brockton Council will assist Chepstow with material for the town's Homecoming celebration this summer.

Picnic tables, garbage cans, and other items will be loaned to Chepstow for the event, allowing the fundraising committee to save on rental costs.

Fundraising committee member Jim Clancy says this was important, as it saves them the cost of rental fees, which otherwise would have put a strain on their small budget.

Clancy hopes to use this extra cash to strengthen the two planned parades, one of which will primarily feature faster muscle cars, something frequently seen on Chepstow's streets back in the 1970s.

Chepstow's Homecoming runs from August 3-6.
