North Huron Reeve Neil Vincent stepped out of the reeve's chair during Monday's council meeting to comment on a feasibility plan for airports in Wingham and Goderich.
Vincent asked Deputy Reeve James Campbell to temporarily take the reeve's seat, before speaking quite negatively on the report, calling the quality of the report "Grade 9 or below".
Vincent took issue with recommendations about growing a niche fruit called Haskap Berries in a crop-sharing agreement on farmland surrounding the airports.
Vincent stated an urban planner should not come to Huron County and tell farmers how to farm.
North Huron Council voted to receive the report. Staff will make recommendations to council in the coming months.
