Flood Waters Recede In Grand River

The Grand River Conservation Authority has terminated all flood warnings for the watershed.

River levels have generally receded after flooding this week, though ice jams are still in place in parts of the Grand in Brantford and Cayuga, and parts of the Nith.

River flows are expected to continue to recede, and the ice is expected to melt or move with warmer temperatures on the way on Friday.

In the meantime, a flood warning continues due to an ice jam on the Maitland in Auburn at the Patterson Bridge
