OHF Announces U14 Goaltender Development Program

The Ontario Hockey Federation announced a new U14 Goaltender Development Program.

The program will see the OHF host a two-day camp in Kitchener in April for 36 male goaltenders born in 2004.

In a release, the OHF says the boys "will be under the instruction and leadership of goaltending experts working with a curriculum from Hockey Canada's High Performance Goaltending Advisory Group."

The camp will include "four on-ice sessions focusing on skating, positioning and skill stations."

Mental preparation will also be part of the camp with three sessions devoted to "position specific warm-ups and cool-downs and an introduction to Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence."

Anyone interested can apply here by March 4th. The camp runs April 28th an 29th.
