Richardson Denies Barrie to Give Rangers the Shut Out

Luke Richardson stopped 43 shots to earn the shut out as the Kitchener Rangers blanked Barrie 3-0.

Riley Damiani opened the scoring for Kitchener just 20 seconds into the second period and Kyle Gentles found the back of the net less than two minutes later.

Logan Stanley padded the Rangers lead at 7:25 of the third.

Kole Sherwood set up two of the Rangers goals.

Leo Lazarev allowed all three goals against the Colts on 30 shots before being replaced in the latter half of the third by Kai Edmonds. Edmonds stopped all 5 shots he faced.

The Rangers have a nine point lead over London for first in the Midwest Division.

The Rangers are back in action Friday night when they host Mississauga.
