BREAKING: Former Blue Jay Roy Halladay Dead In Plane Crash

Former Blue Jays pitcher and two-time Cy Young Award Winner Roy Halladay has died in a plane crash.

A private plane registered to Halladay crashed around 1pm in the Gulf of Mexico near St. Petersburg, Florida on Tuesday.

Police officials in Florida confirmed that the lone deceased occupant of the plane was Halladay in a press conference at 4:15pm.

Halladay retired in 2013 after a 16-year career with the Jays and Phillies. Halladay was 40-years-old.
