Scanlan Set Up Stratford to Win

Guelph 1 Elmira 0

Mathieu Mercier's power play goal at 15:40 of the first period stood as the game winner as the Guelph Hurricanes beat the Elmira Sugar Kings 1-0.

Mercier was assisted by Anthony Mota and Liam Buckley.

Elmira's Tyler Mazzocato made 24 saves in the loss. The Hurricanes' Jet Greaves stopped all 38 shots he faced to earn the shut out.

Stratford 5 Waterloo 3

Jack Scanlan set up all five of Stratford's goals in the Warriors 5-3 win over Waterloo.

Corson Searles and Curtis Abbott each scored twice for Stratford.

The Warriors led 4-1 after the opening period, getting goals from Searles, Sean Chisholm and Abbott.

Andrew Vigliatore earned the win in net with a 30 save performance. Brett Miller stopped 31 shots for the Siskins.

Waterloo got goals from Benton Hays, Sam Spaedt and Sam Cherry.

​Seth Jarvis scored the game-winner in overtime in Carolina's 4-3 comeback victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. The Stanley Cup Finals are now tied at one game apiece.
