Bruce Power Summer Bus Tours More Popular Than Ever

Bruce Power's summer bus tours attracted a record number of people this year.

Over 4,400 people had a chance to check out the site in July and August. Another 720 learned more about nuclear power by watching a live theatre performance.

The program began in 2014 and continues to grow in popularity.

The Bruce Power Visitors' Centre is back to regular hours, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

Bus tours can sometimes be arranged, and groups are always welcome.

"Our Summer Bus Tour Program was another rousing success," says Chris Mercanti, section manager, community and Indigenous relations. "By offering two bus tours a day, seven days a week, we opened our doors to people from around the province, country and world, and showed them what a first-class site we have."
