Grey County OPP have laid charges in connection with a historical sexual assault.
The OPP launched an investigation in October 2016 and found in December 2007, alleged sexual offences took place against a minor.
The incidents happened at a residence on Sykes St. N in Meaford.
Police have now arrested David William Benson, 45, in Toronto.
A bail hearing was scheduled for August 24, 2017, in Owen Sound.
The former Meaford resident is charged with sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching - person under the age of 14 years.
