A Wellington North woman has been charged after a collision involving her vehicle and a motorcycle.
On July 31 at 6:25pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a collision on Concession 9 in the Township of Wellington North. A Kia SUV was travelling north on Concession 9, followed by a Yamaha motorcycle. The Kia then pulled onto the right shoulder and executed a u-turn in the path of the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered minor injuries when he collided with the side of the SUV.
As a result, 59-year-old Linda Maxwell of Wellington North has been charged with making an unsafe turn contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court to answer to the charge.
