ABCA Manager Kate Monk explains the facilities at the camp no longer met the needs of schools and they owners of the camp were not able to make the necessary changes.
Monk says they also found that there were camps in the area providing the same service.
The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is now focusing on day programs.
