Motorist Critical After Brockton Area Crash

A 48-year-old man has been airlifted to a London hospital with life threatening injuries after a serious motor vehicle collision in Brockton.

South Bruce OPP say a pickup truck and a 2008 Freightliner UPS truck collided at the intersection of Bruce Rd. 20 and Hwy. 9 at around 4:18pm on Tuesday.

The 48-year-old UPS driver, an Arran-Elderslie resident, is in critical condition in hospital in London.

An 18-year-old male driver from South Bruce was extricated from the pickup and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The crash closed the road for several hours.

The investigation is ongoing.
