Kincardine Township Man Charged After Weapons, Drugs Search

A man from Kincardine Township faces half-a-dozen criminal charges, following a police operation on Wednesday.

Officers from several crime units and response teams executed a search warrant at a property along Hwy. 21 in Kincardine Township.

Police seized cocaine, marijuana and hashish. The combined estimated value of the substances was almost $61,000. Prohibited weapons and drug trafficking materials were also discovered at the property.

Nicola Malfara, 60, of Kincardine Township was arrested at the scene. He has since been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of property obtained by crime.
