Special Weather Statement for Bruce, Grey

Some areas of Midwestern Ontario will see more rain this week.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the following areas of Midwestern Ontario:

• Hanover - Dundalk - Southern Grey County
• Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
• Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
• Bruce Peninsula - Sauble Beach - Tobermory

Forecasters say there is a potential for 25 to 50mm of new rainfall for Thursday and Thursday night.

The weather agency says showers and embedded thunderstorms are possible.  This system is being monitored closely as it is not clear exactly where the rain's path may go.
