North Huron has appointed an interim CAO and director of public works as they search for a permanent replacement.
Larry McGregor will take on the role as both interim chief administrative officer and director of public works.
CAO Sharon Chambers recently submitted her resignation, not long after the former director of public works, Jeff Molenhuis, resigned.
Molenhuis was hired to head up the merger of the North Huron and Morris Turnberry Public Works Departments in early 2016.
The shared services agreement for public works and administration ended less than a year after it began.
