North Huron Council has reiterated its support for the upcoming Blyth 140 celebration, which is being held July 28-30.
The event will have some fees waived including tent permits and the arena dry pad.
Concerns have been raised regarding noise, as some of the events have been moved to the Lion's Park that is surrounded by residential units. But discussion regarding an extension to the noise bylaw was pushed to next council's meeting as staff gathers more information.
The event kicks off on July 28 with a re-dedication of the Blyth Memoiral Community Hall cenotaph.
