Man Suffers Life Threatening Injuries After Gorge Fall

A 20-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after falling in the Elora Gorge.

It happened Monday evening just after 5pm.

Police say four males were hiking in the gorge, climbed a section 50 ft to 60 ft above the river bed, and then realized they were on private property.

The group started to climb down and that's when the victim fell.

The 20-year-old was airlifted to St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto with life threatening injuries.
