Firearms Stolen In South Huron

Huron County OPP and the OPP Forensic Identification Services are investigating a break-in that saw four firearms stolen.

Police say it happened sometime between March 21 and March 22 an unoccupied farmhouse on Hern Line southeast of Exeter was ransacked.

Police describe the four guns stolen as:

  • A .222 calibre, bolt action rifle with a magazine and an attached scope & shoulder strap. The stock is made out of wood.
  • A .22 calibre, single shot bolt action rifle
  • A .22 calibre bolt action semi-automatic rifle
  • A single shot 12 gauge shotgun
The total value guns is unknown at this time.
