The Municipality of Kincardine is asking residents to conserve water due to an emergency situation with the Water Treatment Plant.
Customers in the town of Kincardine, Huronville, and along the pipeline to Inverhuron are affected.
The system is being fed from the Huron Kinloss Lakeshore Drinking Water System.
Water users in both communities are being asked to use as little water as possible.
The Huron Kinloss groundwater wells have elevated levels of naturally occurring sodium and fluoride.
There may also be differences in pressure, colour and taste.
