Snow Squall Warning for Huron, Perth and Bruce

Another round of winter weather is in the Midwestern Ontario forecast.

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning in the following areas for Saturday evening:

  • Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County
  • Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County
  • Wingham - Blyth - Northern Huron County
  • Goderich - Bluewater - Southern Huron County
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County
The weather agency says snow squalls are coming off Lake Huron.  New snow amounts of 10 to 15 cm per 12 hours are expected in the most persistent squalls tonight into Sunday morning.  Drivers should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions due to sudden white out conditions from bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow. Travel plans should be adjusted accordingly.
