Exeter Faces Elimination From PJHL Post Season

The Exeter Hawks gave up an early two goal lead as they fell 4-3 to Aylmer to trail their Yeck Division Semi Final 3-0.

The Hawks got goals from Justin McCarter, Jonathon Frook and Christian Petrozza. Dane Gubbels suffered the loss, allowing four goals on 16 shots before being replaced by Trevor Fleming who stopped all seven shots he faced in relief.

The Hawks out shot the Spitfires 49-27. Andrew Harriman-Duke made 46 saves for the win.

Jake Morin led Aylmer's offense with a pair of goals.

Exeter faces elimination when they visit Aylmer on Wednesday.
