GOJHL Wrap-Up: Sugar Kings Score Late to Win

Cambridge 3 Stratford 2

The Warriors' Graham Brulotte tied the game in the second but it was the Winterhawks that found the back of the net in the third as Stratford fell 3-2 to Cambridge.

Mason Sinkeldam scored the game winner for the Winterhawks.

Trevor Dulong opened the scoring in the first with a power play goal for Stratford before Cambridge answered with a pair of their own 40 seconds apart.

Rock Boynton made 29 saves in the loss. Ryan Wagner warned the in with a 51 save performance.

The Warriors out shot the Winterhawks 53-32.

Kitchener 2 Listowel 0

Jackson McIntosh stopped all 26 shots he faced as the Kitchener Dutchmen shut out Listowel 2-0.

Brock Baier made 24 saves for the Cyclones.

Ashton Stockie's goal in the final eight seconds of the first stood as the game winner. Luke Bignell added insurance 30 seconds into the second period.

Elmira 4 Waterloo 2

Elmira scored three times in the third to beat Waterloo 4-2.

Klayton Hoelscher had the game winner on the power play at 8:21 of the final frame. Jeremey Goodwin added insurance with an empty netter, unassisted with 45 seconds left on the clock.

Jonathan Reinhart made 31 saves for the Sugar Kings. Liam Devine stopped 25 shots for Waterloo.
