UPDATE: Snow and Rain in Forecast This Week

With snow squalls moving out of the area Sunday night, another weather system is heading to the region this week.

Environment Canada has ended all snow squall warnings that had been in effect for most of the weekend.

The weather agency, however, has issued a special weather statement for all of southwestern and midwestern Ontario for Monday into Tuesday.  A Colorado low system is expected to bring in 5cm to 10cm of new snow Monday night and Tuesday morning, when it is expected to change to rain.  Travel on Tuesday may be affected by changing weather.
