Mitchell Takes Three Goal Lead To Down Hanover 10-4

The Mitchell Hawks led 3-0 by the midway point of the first period and went on to beat Hanover 10-4.

Derek Elliot led the scoring with two goals and three assists in the win. Jake Finlayson struck twice and had two assists for the Hawks.

Other scorers were Garrett James with a goal and two assists, Nick Jung, Drew Gross and Maverick Petrie each with a goal and an assist.

Graeme Lauersen earned the win with 13 saves in 17 shots over two periods of work. Wyatt Nicholson stopped all 12 shots he faced in relief.

The Barons got goals from Justin D Graham, Matt Shields, Jake Mortley and Kyler Borth.
