After a bit of a struggle, Southgate council has approved a Plan of Subdivision for a 70-home subdivision in Dundalk, known as Flato West.
Mayor Anna-Marie Fosbrooke and Councillor Christine Gordon registered the two votes against the plan, citing among other things the need for confirmation of water and sewage capacity.
Fosbrooke called the vote premature, but CAO Dave Milliner said he is confident the needed services are available.
