Kincardine Edges Mitchell; Exeter Tops Port Stanley

Kincardine 2 Mitchell 1 (OT)

Payton Dunlop scored the OT winner as the Kincardine Bulldogs edged the Mitchell Hawks 2-1.

Brett Burrows opened the scoring at 1:32 of the first period for Kincardine. Derek Elliot tied the game just 13 seconds into the second period.

Malcom Young earned the win with a 33 save performance. Graeme Lauersen made 30 saves for Mitchell.

Exeter 6 Port Stanley 2

The Exeter Hawks scored four times in the third period to beat the Port Stanley Sailors 6-2.

Christian Petrozza scored back to back goals just over three minutes apart in the final frame. He also assisted on Nolen Koetsier's goal. Troy Kennedy ended the late game barrage with an unassisted goal with 39 seconds remaining.

Jon Baker and Austin Carter scored late in the first period for the Hawks.

Trevor Fleming stopped 41 shots for Exeter. Ryan Langford made 45 saves for Port Stanley.
