Slushy Road Conditions Thursday Morning

Drivers will notice some very sloppy road conditions in the region Thursday morning.

A mix of sleet, freezing rain, and rain moved across the region overnight.

The plows have been out on the major routes, but some secondary roads will be very slushy and slippery in spots.

This morning's temperatures are forecast to be at, or just above, freezing. Treated surfaces should remain ice free. Untreated surfaces such as roads, walkways and parking lots may be icy.
