Attack Defeat The Knights

Kevin Hancock and Ethan Szypula scored in the shootout to give the Owen Sound Attack a 2-1 win over the first place London Knights.

Michael McNiven made 40 saves in regulation, coming up big for the Attack and earning first star honours.

Nick Suzuki opened the scoring early in the first period and Robert Thomas answered for the Knights just over five minutes later.

The game then became a duel between McNiven and the Knights netminder Tyler Parsons with neither one allowing a goal until the the game went to a shootout. Parsons earned second star honours for his performance last night.

Janne Kuokkanen was the only player to score for London in the shootout.
