** UPDATE: Saugeen Shores police stated in a news release Thursday morning that Michael Askin has been found safe, and they are no longer searching for him.
Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 36-year-old man after he was injured in Port Elgin.
The Saugeen Shores Police Service says Michael James Askin was involved in an incident in Port Elgin on Tuesday where he suffered a cut to his abdomen.
Askin is described as a white 36-year-old male. Police have provided a picture which is shown above.
