Sugar Kings Top 99ers

The Elmira Sugar Kings got goals from six different players as they beat Brantford 6-2.

Jake Brown got things started late in the first period with an unassisted goal. Blair Butchart put the Sugar Kings up 2-0, assisted by Jacob Black and Matt Murray, with just 40 seconds left in the opening frame.

Andrew McIntyre and Mitch Hoelscher scored 21 seconds apart to open the scoring in the second. Nolan Regan put the 99ers on the board at 8:45. Ethan Skinner also scored in the second.

Brandon Scanlin fired a power play goal past the Sugar Kings Jonathan Reinhart in the first minute of the third to give the 99ers their second goal of the game.

Anthony Azzano scored the Sugar Kings final goal of the game with four-and-a-half minutes remaining.
