Perth County OPP have announced the addition of the County's first ever Community Mobilization Officer.
Inspector Rob Scott announced the arrival of Provincial Constable Bill Dekoning as the new CMO.
Perth County sees a need for this new addition as they continue to move on with the Community Mobilization & Engagement Model.
This involves community members working with local police to make neighbourhoods safer and healthier.
P/C Dekoning has over 20 years experience in a number of different police oriented projects, including time as a Perth County OPP School Resource Officer.
