Elmira and Guelph Play to a Tie

Neither team could score in the second overtime and the Elmira Sugar Kings played the Guelph Hurricanes to 4-4 draw in the GOJHL last night.

Guelph's Lucas Dybowski scored the tying goal at 6:51 of the third.

The teams traded the lead a few times throughout the game. Quinten Bruce scored and added an assist for Elmira. Klayton Hoelscher had two assists. Andrew McIntyre, Jeff Jordan and Kyle Soper also scored for the Sugar Kings.

Elmira's Jonathan Reinhart made 33 saves. Guelph's Kristian Hufsky stopped 38 shots.

The Sugar Kings are fourth in the Midwestern Conference at 4-2-1. Guelph is in second behind the unbeaten Listowel Cyclones at 6-1-1.
