Toxins Still Present In Lake Rosalind Water

A media release from the Grey-Bruce Health Unit confirms that there are still toxins present in Lake Rosalind.

According to test samples taken on August 22, Lake Rosalind and the connecting Marl Lake both still register dangerous levels of blue-green algae toxins. As a result, the "Do Not Use Water" advisory remains in effect. No swimming, bathing or cooking should be done, and boiling the water doesn't protect against the toxins.

If the public have any questions, they should contact Public Health or the Grey-Bruce Health Unit.
