UPDATE: Three Injured In Crash In Clifford

One person had to airlifted to hospital  following a two-vehicle crash in Clifford.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 10:50am, the two-vehicles collided on Wellington County Rd 2, just east of Creek Rd.

There were two female occupants in one vehicle and one male in the other. All three were taken to hospital. One of the females suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to a hospital in Hamilton.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Wellington County Rd. 2 was closed between Creek Rd. and 6th Line for several hours while emergency crews are at the scene. It has since been reopened.
