Planned Power Outages for Port Elgin Tuesday

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, April 26 2016) morning, Westario Customers in Port Elgin will experience a number of planned power outages or 'Brown Outs' beginning at 8am.

According to Westario Power, the outages will last roughly 20 minutes and continue throughout the day at the 6 power stations throughout the town.

Residents and businesses in Port Elgin are asked to prepare for the outages.

Keeping flashlights and/or candles nearby is also recommended.

Westario Power says the power outages or 'Brown Outs' are expected to last until 4pm.
