Ironmen Recognize Teammates at Year End Banquet

The Wingham Ironmen presented some of the top players with awards at their annual year end banquet Saturday night.

Ryan McNeil was named Most Valuable Player and Regular Season Top Scorer.

Mitch Deelstra also took home two honours: Rookie of the Year and Playoff Scoring Leader.

Goalie Ben Nelson was named playoff MVP; Braedon Ellis was presented with the Dedication Award; Blake Buchanan was named Most Sportsmanlike; Jarod Logan was named Most Improved; Bailey Poels was named the Fan Favourite; Greg Scott was awarded Top Defencemen honours; and Jeremy Ross was presented with the Executive Award.

On it's Facebook page, the team says Nelson, McNeil, Keifer MacInnes and Captain Darren Kerr were all given their jerseys in recognition of their overage year.
