Suspects Sought In Meaford Home Invasion

Police are looking for suspects after a home invasion and robbery in Meaford.

The Grey County Ontario Provincial Police say on Saturday around 1:35pm, officers responded to the home on Miller St. following a 911 call.

Police say two men entered the home through an unlocked door, confronted the homeowners and demanded cash. The suspects left the home in an unknown direction. Police have not released details about what was taken during the robbery.

The homeowners, a man and a woman, were not injured during the home invasion. The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and was later released.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages.
